Introducing The 30X System
For the most part, the thought process for marketing has been a linear form of marketing. Let me explain.
In order to sell something most people write a sales letter. There’s usually one sales letter per product. They drive traffic to that particular sales letter and hopefully, if they’re a skilled copywriter, they will get someone to purchase the particular product.
Regardless what the product is, the concept is usually same. This is the way marketing is usually done, and I’ve done it this way for many years myself.
We try to drive as much traffic as we can to one particular page and with the copy on that page we would try to encompass all the various reasons that a person would want to buy that one product from us.
There’s no doubt, this system has been great and has worked. I have made literally millions of dollars with this particular strategy. This process is typical and a very large percentage or marketers continue to use it. In fact, the majority of people marketing online are using this particular strategy still today.
There are two main issues with this strategy.
First in a linear system there is only one way in and one option to make. All of your traffic comes into one page, and they either buy or don’t buy. This sets up an all or nothing situation, and that’s a scary proposition.
Over time, we fixed that by adding an opt-in page and or adding an exit pop with a secondary offer. This gives the prospect more choices, but it does not change that there is still only one way in.
The second is that in the original set up, the traffic is not really targeted. Meaning we advertise with generic ads hoping to cast as big a net as possible and grab as many people as we can and hope when they get to our site they are interested in what we have to offer.
So how do we attract more targeted people in different ways and bring them all to the same product? Better yet, how do we bring all that targeted traffic in and make them all want to buy our product?
Simple, we have to stop thinking in straight lines. Start thinking in circles.
What if you could surround a webpage with multiple opt-in pages that are all 100% targeted to specific traffic? Do you think that would make it easier to sale your products and a lot of them? ABSOLUTELY!
That’s what my 30X system is all about.
I know you have probably heard me talk about this before, and if you haven’t then you need to go to Marketing University and check out the WebCamp training I recently did on this system.
In a nut shell, the 30X strategy is simply where you create your sales letter then think of 30 reasons why a person would buy your product. Once you have your 30 reasons you will create an optin page for each reason.
It’s that easy, and can be set up very quickly. If you haven’t starting applying the 30X system to your products, you need to!
