I’m making plans and changes right now. I make them on a continual, as needed basis. But, as I’m sure you know, I think differently. I think about things in different segments. It’s as if my brain is divided up into different areas where I can compartmentalize things.
Armand Morin
A lot of people put off changing what they’re doing or starting new things. They set a future date to start the change. My question is “why?” Why wait? If the change or the start of something new is worthwhile…why not start it now? There’s no reason to wait for the new year, your birthday, the Independence Day etc.
Start the change now.
I’m making plans and changes right now. I make them on a continual, as needed basis. But, as I’m sure you know, I think differently.
I think about things in different segments. It’s as if my brain is divided up into different areas where I can compartmentalize things. If you could look inside my brain, I feel sure you’d see these compartments where I store all my thoughts.
As an example, let’s say, in my business I may have four compartments in my head.
Number one would be the coaching compartment where I think, file and store everything for Marketing University.
Number two may be where I store my products. Anything I’m working on can go here. Right now, for example I have information products and software products stored here. I have a lot of fun in this compartment thinking up new products.
For a lot of people, creating and developing software is time consuming and very difficult. For me, it’s what I enjoy. I understand how it works and I understand what is needed for the particular product I’m working on…so…I have fun matching these two up. I love the challenge it gives me.
Information products are what I call “one-off ” products. You sell them one time. If an information product is residual or recurring, it would then be considered in my membership products.
Webinars on Demand, Traffic Encyclopedia and 30x are examples of one-off products. Marketing University is a Membership, and it has information products in it. It may also contain one-off products that are sold separately elsewhere. These one-off products, sold on their own, could range anywhere from $497 to $5,000.

I am currently developing several software products. You haven’t heard much about them because they are still under development. One of them is a webinar software and another is a cloud hosting software that I plan to compete with Amazon with.
Another product that may even be complete by the time you read this, is a testimonial service. I’m really excited about this. It will enable people to leave you video testimonials online.
I have many more pieces of software filed in that one-off compartment. So, you can expect more being rolled out in the year ahead.
Workshops would be the next compartment.
I also have, what I call, partner products stored up there. These are products that I’ve partnered with other people on. Examples would be Pageable and PayBlue.
The third compartment in my brain is filled with, for lack of a better title, promotion stuff.
It includes things like seminars and webinars. Webinars are actually part of a promotion strategy called marketing.
Stop. Go back and reread that. It’s very important. Let me explain.
As you are building your business, first and foremost, you have to segment the way you think. You need to segment all of this in your head. This is the hardest thing to do. You have to visualize in your head how all of this is coming together.
