In this article, I wanted to go over two simple strategies that can create continual income from your existing products.
Strategy Number One: Piggyback On Your Existing Correspondence.
You may already be periodically sending emails to your list—that’s a good thing. There’s nothing wrong with sending an email. I highly advise it. The problem that most people have, is they don’t email their prospect list enough.
Now, let’s just stop right here and go back in history.
I set up and send email campaigns all the time so I think my list should know about all my products. But I would still get people from my list would saying, “Hey! Do you know where we can get this product or this type of product?” These people were already on my list and received my emails. How come these people don’t know that I had that product? Let me give you an example.
Years ago, I developed and sold a piece of software that made HTML eBooks. This was way back before eBooks were popu- lar in their current form. HTML eBooks were a bit complicat- ed to create so I developed a piece of software to create them. My software was the number one bestselling eBook software at the time. It was called eBook Generator. One day, a person who had ordered that product, contacted us and asked, “Do you know where I can get software to create eCover graphics?” Here’s what’s strange—I ALREADY marketed a software that created eCover graphics. As one of my customers, shouldn’t they already know that I have this eCover software?
It was at that point that I knew I needed to make some changes in the way I marketed my products.
One of the first changes I made was very, very simple. At the end of every email I sent to people (except on emails where I was promoting a particular product), and at end of all my cus- tomer service emails, I said, “Here are some of our other great products” and I listed our products along with links to each product.
In my signature file at the bottom of everything I sent out, right underneath after my signature block, I just put another line that says, “Here are some of our other great products.” Then I put a link with the product name in it. That way, every email that I send out has a promotion for our other products.
When we started this we had 20 or 30 products. That was way too many to promote at the end of each email so we just listed our most popular products.
It looked something like this:

That’s it—that’s all we did to increase my income by 10 percent!
