Determine the Why Of Article Marketing

It must make sense to the person who has never heard of you to click the link and find out more about what you have to offer.

Determine the why of article marketing

Even  before  you  write  your article, think about the reason you are writing it. You may be building your list and sending readers and potential prospects back to an optin page.

This means you will want to write an article that will make sense to them when they click on your link in the resource box and arrive at your site.

Did you promise them a free giveaway in your resource box that is now the reason for them to opt in to your list? It must all make sense to the person who has never heard of you and is just exploring the idea of finding out more about what you have to offer.

You may also be writing articles to send readers and potential prospects to the sales letter for an affiliate product or service. There are two different ways to do this.

If you are not building a list on the specific topic, you may want to send them directly to the sales letter.

However, if you want to collect the names and email addresses of the prospective buyers, set up an optin page in front of the affiliate sales page.

Your blog may also be the desired destination of your article reader. I  like  to  write  an  article  every week or so to send people back to my main blog. This serves two main purposes.

  1. I increase visitors and readership to my blog, as well as allowing readers to opt in right there on the blog.
  2. Because the articles will serve you over time, everyone will arrive at your blog when a different post is at the top. Over a period of months this allows you to see which information is more interesting to your prospects, and will ultimately bring you more business.
